Amazing Woman
Holly Butterfield nominated Dulce for BC Woman magazine's Woman of the
Year. Holly is the chair of the District #43, Coquitlam, School Board.
Dulce won this honour and it provided great satisfaction to her as she
faced her fate at Eagle Ridge Hospital. The award was accepted on
October 3rd, 1998, by Kevin, Alicia and Richard on Dulce's behalf at the
Canada Place Trade & Convention Centre in Vancouver, B.C. The
award included complementary air fare for two to anywhere that Canadian
Airlines flies in California, U.S.A.
