Dear Family Member;

It is my pleasure to inform you that the Huscroft Educational Trust has now been established. The mandate of this Trust is to provide cash awards to assist in the financing of post secondary education of Huscroft Beneficiaries.

The commitment to educating our youth has been a long term goal of Kevin's, and a vision that I am proud to share with him. Kevin can attribute a large part of his success to having had the opportunity to pursue a post secondary education. As a result of his success he has been able to establish this Trust for his immediate and extended families, as outlined in the application package.

The awards will begin September 2001. It is anticipated that $50,000 (Canadian) per year will be awarded through distributions of small ($1,000) to large ($10,000) annual awards, including a limited number of multi-year awards. Applications must be received by January 15^th to be considered. (Please refer to the application package for application details and deadlines.)

The tremendous responsibility of making award decisions will be the role of the Advisory Board. The decisions will result in part from reviewing the applicants eligibility, economic potential, financial need, and academic achievement, with priority given to youth.

The intention of the Huscroft Educational Trust is to continue for many generations. However, its success will depend on you and your family members assisting the Advisory Board by supporting their decisions, promoting the use of this Trust by your children, and supplying updated information as required. By working together we will be able to give the opportunity of further education to our children.

The goal is that the next generation will understand this significant opportunity and that, in turn, they will have their own stories of success.

Please submit the following information about your immediate family; Full legal names, relationship to the trust, birthday, current address, and telephone numbers, and email addresses. The accurate accounting of this information is essential to determine the future needs of the Trust.
